Diamond Peak’s mid-mountain Snowflake Lodge offers one of the best views of Lake Tahoe around. Skiers can enjoy a full lunch menu daily during the ski season, with outdoor dining on the huge sundeck.
In summertime, a popular hike of 1.2 miles up a fire road takes hikers to Snowflake to enjoy the panoramic Lake Tahoe views (note: no services are available during the summer).
Check on mid-mountain snow totals in the winter. Use the cam’s sunrise/sunset features to watch time lapse footage of the sun rising/setting over Lake Tahoe.
