Take a lesson with our professional instructors to learn or improve your skiing or snowboarding skills. Private lessons and group lesson packages are available through the Diamond Peak Ski & Ride Center for youth ages 7 – 12.
Children ages 3 – 6 are taught through Diamond Peak’s Child Ski & Ride Center.

All Ski & Ride Center lessons must be booked in advance. A paid reservation is necessary to guarantee all lessons. All products are subject to availability and may reach capacity at any time. Peak period lessons typically sell out quickly, so it is recommended to book early if you plan to visit during those dates. Cancellation fees apply for all lessons.

Arrival Time
All advance purchases with rentals should be redeemed at the Rental Shop. Skip the ticket line in the Plaza and go directly to the Rental Shop!
We recommend that you arrive at the Rental Shop 1 hour before your lesson start time for non-peak weekdays (Monday – Friday) lessons, 1.5 hours on weekends (Saturday – Sunday) and 2 hours on peak periods (dates listed above). Please budget extra time to find a parking spot, get dressed, walk or take the tram from your car, and use the restroom before getting to the Rental Shop. Plan additional time and bring extra patience on snowy days and busy weekends. For afternoon lessons, please plan to arrive at the rental shop by 9:30 a.m. on weekends and peak days to ensure we have the appropriate size gear for you – after 9:30 a.m. we cannot guarantee all sizes will be available.
After you pick up your rentals and lesson ticket, please proceed to the lesson meeting area on the snow (look for the colored flags and signs near Lakeview chairlift) to meet the Ski & Ride Center staff and instructors about 10 to 15 minutes before your lesson start time. Parents must stay on property for the duration of the lesson.
Group Ski or Snowboard Lessons (ages 7-12)
This winter we will offer group ski or snowboard lessons for all levels of children ages 7-12. Lessons begin at 9:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. and are 2.5 hours long. Parents must stay on property for the duration of the lesson.
First Time Package (ages 7-12)
First time skiing or snowboarding? This package is for you! Get everything you need for your first day, including a First Timer Lesson, beginner lift access, and rental equipment. Guided by patient instructors in our dedicated lesson zone, you’ll build confidence by learning the basics and starting with a strong foundation.
The First Time Package includes rental equipment for either skiing (skis, boots, and poles) or snowboarding (snowboard and boots). Helmets are also provided and strongly recommended. Group Lessons (ages 7-12): Beginner – Advanced
Sharpen your skills in a supportive group setting with instructors who know the terrain and how to help you progress. All lesson participants will need lift access and equipment, which can be added on online at discounted rates.
Private Lessons (for ages 7+)
Get the most from personal ski or snowboard instruction. All private lessons are available for 1-5 people of similar ability and the same discipline. When you purchase your private lesson online, you can add on rental equipment and lift tickets at discounted rates. All private lessons are subject to availability, and pricing varies by date.

Multi-Week Programs
Our multi-week programs are conducted on weekdays in partnership with our local schools and youth programs. Please contact your site organizer for details and registration at the end of November.
