Adaptive Lessons

Diamond Peak is proud to offer adaptive ski and snowboard lessons this winter. We have qualified instructors trained to meet the needs of most intellectual and most physical disabilities. Please specify what type of lesson you are seeking in the intake form below.

Note that Diamond Peak does not have adaptive-specific equipment in our rental inventory (e.g sit-skis, etc.) but has access to equipment through our strategic partnerships.

We do have a roster of qualified and trained instructors for almost all intellectual disabilities given that the student will be able to use skis or a snowboard standing up.

All adaptive lessons are sent out as private lessons, so the student receives all the attention of the instructor. We offer 1-hour lessons at 9am, 12pm and 1pm. We offer 2-hour lessons at 12pm.

Adaptive Lesson Request

STEP 1: Create or update your online profile, add any participants to your account, and add or update your credit card under “My Account” in the Diamond Peak online store.

STEP 2: Fill out the form below completely to request an adaptive lesson. It is recommended that you fill out your request at least 72 hours in advance. It could take up to 48 hours for our agents to respond. If the lesson slot you requested is available, our agents will build an order and call for payment. If you have a valid credit card on file they will book the lesson and send a confirmation email. Lessons are not booked until you receive a confirmation phone call or confirmation email from our staff.

NOTE: Filling out this lesson request form DOES NOT guarantee we will have availability during the dates/times requested. Private lessons are not confirmed until you speak to an agent, pay for the lesson, and receive an order confirmation number from our staff.
