DP Goggle Sticker

Want to get your hands on one of these stickers? Stop by the Ski Safety Day Meet & Greet with Fred (Patrol Dog) and Kari B. (Patrol Director) this Saturday to earn one of these new stickers. Say one of the points from “Your Responsibility Code,” “Park SMART”, or take the Mountain Safety Guide Quiz to get a sticker. Patrol will also be passing these out to skiers who are caught being safe on the hill. 

We caught up with Jan to learn a little about what inspired her artwork:

What was the inspiration behind your sticker design?

The sticker design came from tinkering with ideas with my kids for the neck gaiter contest–we love the ‘Diamond’ and ‘Peak’ from the prior logo and wanted to incorporate that too. Everyone skis and rides with goggles, so I wiggled the letters around in the goggle shape to have some fun with the name.

What are your favorite trails at Diamond Peak? 

Favorite runs at DP are Diamond Back and Battle Born–on a powder day, these are steep and fun and I love to go in and out of the trees!

Special Diamond Peak memory –  

On Christmas Day 2021, we opened gifts and then the whole crew went to Diamond Peak to ski. It was snowing and stormy and so exciting to see friends and Santa!

How many years have you been a DP passholder? 

I have been a passholder at Diamond Peak for most of my 23 years of living in Incline.
