Diamond Peak Ski Resort in North Lake Tahoe is excited to kick off its 60th season of operations on Friday, Dec. 19, 2025. We are stoked to celebrate this milestone with you and are in the process of planning a winter full of fun events!
We anticipate that only our beginner lifts (Lodgepole and Schoolhouse) and beginner terrain will be available for approximately the first week of the season. And we are hoping Mother Nature obliges us with some natural snowfall and/or cold snowmaking temperatures ASAP so we can open additional terrain soon.
Pro Tip: If you are purchasing lift tickets for ages 13+ during the period between Dec. 19 – Dec. 26, please select Beginner Tickets from the online store. If we are able to expand terrain to the upper mountain during that time period, you can upgrade your ticket at the ticket window for the difference between the all-mountain and beginner rates.
