Lila Lapanja, 2024 US Alpine National Slalom Champion and USA World Cup racer is coming back to visit her hometown and mountain!
Join us to celebrate Lila’s amazing season with a meet and greet, autographs, and live music at Diamond Peak’s Base Lodge (1210 Ski Way) on Sunday, April 13, 2025.
Schedule of events
- 12:00-2:00pm: Lila meet & greet (Base Lodge Deck)
- 2-5:00pm: Live music with Bad Decisions (Loft Bar Deck)
- 4:00pm: Happy hour drink specials in the Loft Bar
About Lila Lapanja
Lila Lapanja, now a four-time US National Champion and four-time North American “Nor-Am” Cup Champion, was on a pair of skis at her hometown mountain of Diamond Peak in Incline Village, NV when she was only two-years-old and was competitively racing on the Diamond Peak Ski Team by age six.
A true local, Lila entered the world by (snow) storm, born during a Sierra Nevada blizzard at Lake Tahoe and grew up skiing at Diamond Peak where her racing skills were cultivated by her dad and coach, Vojko, who skied for the Slovenian National Team and Sierra Nevada College.
Lila, who is proudly a dual citizen of the USA and Slovenia, was named to the U.S. Ski Team at the age of 16 and made her racing debut on the World Cup circuit in 2015. As she now aims to qualify for the 2026 Winter Olympics, Lila is more committed than ever to excel in her personal and professional “evolution of excellence” on her ski racing journey.
Whether she is chasing a World Cup podium, an Olympic dream or cultivating her passions outside of racing, Lila is dedicated to “Keep moving, Keep smiling” and inspiring all those who know her.
