Winter Jobs: Rental Shop Manager

The Rental Shop Manager job is a 7-month seasonal manager position that manages the Diamond Peak Rental/Repair Shop and the Hyatt Sports Shop. This is a key role within the resort’s Skier Services team, with a great opportunity to make a difference at our community-owned resort and grow your career in the ski industry. This is a full-time, seasonal position, with the potential to transfer to other roles within the District after winter is over.

You might enjoy managing the rental shop team if:

  • You enjoy working indoors, but with easy access to the slopes
  • You enjoy working with people and want to grow your management experience
  • You have good computer and communication skills
  • You enjoy variety – no day is the same! 

Requirements:

  • Ages 18+
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License
  • Attention to detail and safety
  • Move/lift 25lbs+ regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to ski, snowboard, or snowshoe
  • A working knowledge of ski and snowboard equipment, including safety procedures
  • College-level business classes equivalent to an AA degree from a four-year college or university
  • Four years of ski or recreation industry experience, including two years in a manager or supervisory role
