March 14: Retro Ski Day – Break out your retro gear, neon, and skinny skis for Retro Ski Day at Diamond Peak. Groovy Judy will be playing live retro tunes from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. on the Loft Bar deck. Get ready to dance!
March 20: Season Passholder & VIP Après-Ski Party – We’re throwing a party to show our appreciation for Diamond Peak season passholders on Friday, March 20th 4:30-7:30 p.m in the Loft Bar. Passholders can enjoy free appetizers, drink specials, a fashion show by Redemption Sports, live music, activities for kids, giveaways and more! Guests of passholders may attend for $10; $5 for kids. March 21: Go Green Day & Live Music – Diamond Peak is committed to helping keep Tahoe beautiful and encourages guests to do their part too! Waste Not, TRPA, Lake Tahoe School and other local clubs and organizations will be joining forces to put on Go Green Day Saturday, March 21st from 10:00 a.m – 2:00 p.m. Join us for games, educational activities, art displays, and more. Pick up a Go Green punch card at the ticket windows or at the Green Expo on the Base Lodge deck to enter the raffle drawing and earn prizes. Stick around for live music by local band, Owen Big, on the Loft Bar deck from 3:00-6:00p.m.
March 22: DPSEF Diamond Cup Challenge – The 14th Annual Diamond Cup Challenge is a family-friendly community fun race that benefits the Diamond Peak Ski Team. Join in on the fun on March 22nd and compete against your child, spouse, best friend, etc. in a dual giant slalom format. More details and registration at dpsef.org.
March 27: UnBirthday Celebration – Ski for free on your birthday! Does your birthday fall outside of ski season? No problem, we have UnBirthday Day on March 27th. If your birthday falls anytime between April 13th and December 19th, join us on Friday, March 27th for a free lift ticket. Just bring your valid photo ID to the ticket window to receive your free UnBirthday ticket.
March 28: Undy Ski Day & Sam Adams Party – Diamond Peak is partnering with the Incline Village Community Hospital to put on Undy Ski Day in honor of Colon Cancer Awareness Month. Wear your undies for a $35 lift ticket; participate in Zumba, live music on the deck, Undy ski mobs, and more! Wear your undies over your ski pants, on your helmet, as a cape, etc. Please wear pants or leggings under your undies. The fun continues with a patriotic après-ski party sponsored by Sam Adams with games, samples, and giveaways in the Loft Bar from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m.
March 29: 15th Annual Dummy Downhill – Build a dummy on skis (or a snowboard) that gets launched off a big jump on Show-Off and see what happens. Spectators can view the action from the Base Lodge deck. Pre-register dummies online by March 28th. Paul David and the Drivers is playing live music on the deck after the competition. This wacky event is fun for the whole family, so mark your calendar now!
April 5: Easter Egg Hunt on the Slopes – The big egg hunt starts right when the lifts open at 9:00 a.m., so get here early! Eggs are hidden all over the mountain, including golden eggs with special prizes. The event is free but participants must have a valid lift ticket for the day or a season pass. At 2:00 p.m. there is an Easter service at the top of Lakeview Chair, led by Tahoe Resort Ministries.
April 12: Closing Day – Come get in your last runs of the season at Diamond Peak.
