Dreaming of the 2020-21 winter…

Dear Diamond Peak Skiers and Riders,

As summer starts winding down and the weather turns toward fall, the days are getting shorter and we know what you’re thinking…

Ski season will be here soon. Can’t. Wait. For. Snow!!!

Of course, there may be a few other concerns on your mind these days given the uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic and the impacts that will have on all of us this winter. And for all of our California friends impacted by the wildfires burning across the state, we hope you are staying safe. Our thoughts are with you.

Here at Diamond Peak, we understand the stress levels that come with so much uncertainty, but we want to assure all of our loyal guests that we have every intention to open the ski resort this winter. We hope to operate as close to normal as possible, with several new protocols and safety measures in place to ensure the health and safety of our guests and community.

The mountains offer an incredible escape and a beautiful outdoor setting. All of us at Diamond Peak know you are excited to see snow starting to cover the resort soon enough.

We have started putting together updated operations plans for the 2020-21 ski season. And while we don’t know exactly what the 2020-21 ski season will look like yet, given how often state and local COVID-19 regulations are changing here in Nevada, but we do know that we are eager to welcome you all back to our local community-owned resort.

Please stay tuned for updates on our sales processes, arrival instructions, products offered, and more in upcoming weeks. We anticipate the potential for rapidly changing expectations, so we suggest subscribing to our email newsletter and daily conditions updates, and checking our COVID FAQ page on the website frequently this year to ensure you know what to expect before you arrive.

We are still selling season passes for the 2020-21 ski season at this time, with Preseason Sale pricing valid through Oct. 31 or whenever we sell out due to COVID-related volume restrictions. As always, we offer our Peak Pledge for all season pass purchases, which makes getting a refund on your unused pass purchase – for any reason – easy. (Click here for details.) So if you’re still debating whether a season pass makes sense for you this winter, don’t wait too long! Check out our full list of 2020-21 season pass perks on our website.

Thank you for being part of the Diamond Peak family! We can’t wait to see your smiling (under a mask) faces back on our slopes again this winter.
