Diamond Peak Opening Postponed

Diamond Peak Ski Resort will postpone opening day for the 2014-15 ski season. The resort was scheduled to open on December 11, but due to warm temperatures and high elevation snowfalls, the opening has been postponed to a later date.

Diamond Peak will announce a new opening date on diamondpeak.com once it has been determined. A strong winter storm with colder temperatures is forecasted later this week. Diamond Peak General Manager Brad Wilson says he “fully anticipates opening well before the holidays.” Diamond Peak historically opens the second or third week in December.

The annual Season Pass Holder Appreciation BBQ is also postponed until the new opening day. Check DiamondPeak.com or Diamond Peak’s Facebook page for updates.
