Meet fellow backcountry enthusiasts and learn something new at Avy Savvy, a workshop series focused on increasing avalanche awareness and decision making in backcountry scenarios. Avy Savvy is a collaboration between Sierra Avalanche Center, Incline Village Parks and Recreation, Diamond Peak Ski Resort, Sierra Nevada University and the Diamond Peak Ski Education Foundation and will take place on select Monday evenings this winter at Diamond Peak’s Base Lodge.

Time: 4:30 - 5:00pm- Registration & mixer / 5:00 - 6:00pm- Presentation
Cost: Presentations are free, donations accepted. Food and drinks available for purchase.
Meet at Diamond Peak’s Loft Bar (2nd level of the Base Lodge) at 4:30pm to check in, grab a drink and mingle before the presentation. The presentation and discussion from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. will cover a different topic each week. Avy Savvy is free, with a suggested donation to any of the partnering organizations (IVGID, SNU, DPSEF, SAC). Cash and credit cards donations accepted. Food and drinks available for purchase from the Diamond Peak Loft Bar.
