Resident Appreciation Week: Jan 28th - Feb 3rd

As a way to show our appreciation to the communities of Incline Village and Crystal Bay, Diamond Peak is offering an unprecedented pilot program that will allow residents with a current IVGID Recreation Picture Pass or Punch Card the opportunity to ski or ride FREE at Diamond Peak January 28 - February 3, 2013. There are additional offers and restrictions, so please read the following details and present your IVGID Pass, Punch Card or Resident Season Pass to redeem these offers. F&B Specials: 10% off in the Main Lodge Food Court and a Resident Drink Special in the Loft Bar every day. The Food Court will be featuring the following specials:

  • Monday - Grilled Salmon Club Sandwich/Jambalaya Soup
  • Tuesday - Flat Iron Steak Sandwich/Chicken Gumbo Soup 
  • Wednesday - Pulled Pork Sandwich & Coleslaw/Chicken Noodle Soup
  • Thursday - Tri-Tip Sandwich/Beef & Barley Soup
  • Friday - Fish & Chips/Jerk Chicken Soup
  • Saturday - Prime Rib Sandwich/Chicken Enchiladas Soup
  • Sunday - Chicken Fried Steak Sandwich/Veggie Minestrone Soup

Raffle: Obtain (1) raffle ticket at the ticket window for a chance to win some great prizes! Residents with an active Diamond Peak Resident Season Pass can pick up raffle tickets at the ticket window, Demo area, clinics, and during the Resident Appreciation Party for more chances to win.

Final Sweep with Ski Patrol: Monday Jan 28th- Friday Feb 1st you can join the Ski Patrol on their final sweep of the mountain at the end of the day. Guests must be high intermediate level skiers/riders and meet Patrol at top of Crystal Ridge at 4pm (no later). 5 guests allowed per day, sign up at the Guest Services window. 
 

IVGID Recreation Picture Pass or Punch Card Holders (who do NOT have a Diamond Peak Season Pass): FREE Lift Tickets

Free Lift Tickets: Residents who do not have a Diamond Peak Resident Season Pass will receive one free lift ticket per Rec Picture Pass or Punch Card, per day. You must present a current, valid Incline Village Recreation Pass or Punch Card at the Diamond Peak ticket windows to claim your free lift ticket. Please note that tickets are for the sole use of the resident only and are not transferrable in any way. You may be asked to provide your Picture Pass or Punch Card in lift lines to validate your free resident lift ticket.  

Diamond Peak Resident Season Passholder Exclusive Offers:

Thank you for your support of Diamond Peak; we would not be able to do what we do without you. Since the free daily lift tickets are not transferrable, please understand that we cannot provide free lift tickets to residents who already have a Diamond Peak Resident Season Pass. To show our appreciation for our passholders, we are offering the following exclusive offers:

Free Demo Equipment: Demo skis or snowboards for free during Resident Appreciation Week. Show your Resident Season Pass, driver’s license and credit card at the rental shop to use the Demo equipment (subject to availability). Equipment may be used one day at a time and must be returned by the end of the day. 

Resident Passholder Clinics: Specialized ski and snowboard clinics will be offered 12–2pm, Monday thru Friday,  with each day targeting a different skill set. Clinics are limited to 10 participants. Sign up in advance at the Guest Services window or call 775.832.1253. Clinics are as follows:

  • Monday: (SKI) Skill improvement on Groomers - basic tips to improve your skiing on groomed runs. Expect one or two key pointers from a pro on what you need to do to improve your skiing
  • Tuesday: (SKI) Carving - for more advanced skiers, learn to use ski design to achieve more dynamic/higher speed carved turns
  • Wednesday: (SNOWBOARD) Carving - for more advanced riders, learn to use snowboard design to achieve more dynamic/higher speed carved turns
  • Thursday: (SNOWBOARD) Switch riding - learn to ride with your opposite (back foot) forward. Trust us, it's not as easy as it seems!
  • Friday: (SKI) All mountain terrain exploration - discover the lesser skied parts of Diamond Peak
Clinics will meet on the snow in the Ski & Snowboard School Area.
