Forget First Chair, Take "Last Tracks" at Lake Tahoe's Diamond Peak
INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. (Jan. 16, 2013) – Take part in one of Lake Tahoe’s most unique on-mountain events this winter with Diamond Peak’s Last Tracks, every Saturday afternoon from Feb. 2 through the end of the ski season. While skiers and boarders are known for lining up to catch the first chair of the day, riders at Diamond Peak take advantage of a late-day lift ticket price of just $29 that includes two hours of skiing before taking the last chair up to Snowflake Lodge to enjoy breathtaking views, wine, appetizers and one final run down a freshly groomed trail.
Beginning Saturday, Feb. 2, Last Tracks is Diamond Peak’s signature event. And while the Sierra is known for being home to the highest concentration of ski resorts in North America, no other provides the Last Tracks experience – or the unbelievable Lake views – that Diamond Peak does. Add to that the close proximity to some of Lake Tahoe’s most luxurious dining and lodging options and Diamond Peak truly makes for a perfect day on the slopes of the world renowned Sierra Nevada.
