Diamond Peak Ski Education Foundation Hosts Three Days of Special Events During Annual Ullr Fest

INCLINE VILLAGE, NV (Jan 31, 2013) – Diamond Peak Ski Education Foundation hosts the fourth annual Ullr Fest Feb. 8 – 10 to raise funds for the Diamond Peak Ski Team.  The action-packed weekend kicks off Friday, Feb. 8 with a Torch Light Parade, bonfire, and live music, and continues through Sunday with other events including races, food, entertainment and more. Diamond Peak reminds event attendees to come dressed in the best Ullr attire as the event is named for the Scandinavian god of winter and snow, who is widely regarded as the patron saint of skiers.

Created to help raise funds for the Diamond Peak Ski Education Foundation, Ullr Fest raises funds for the non-profit organization that is designed to help children develop alpine racing skills.  The Diamond Peak Ski Team is part of the Tahoe League Race Series, a developmental alpine ski race league for child athletes aged 7-18. Ski teams that participate in the league are part of a 30-year Tahoe tradition of teaching young children the fundamental skills for safe and competitive alpine ski racing.
