Closing Day & Passholder Appreciation Day - Sunday, April 8thApr 2, 2007
Incline Village, NV, March 31, 2007: April 8, 2007 will be the official end of the 2006/2007 Ski Season at Diamond Peak. Ski Resort Manager, Ed Youmans, said the resort has seen “a decline in skier interest over the past few weeks.” Diamond Peak had originally planned on staying open until April 15th. “Although the skiing is still excellent,” Youmans said, “we simply can't afford to operate the resort for too many more days when the minimal number of staff here begins to exceed the number of guests.” Diamond Peak will end its season with a Community and Passholder Appreciation Day. On April 8th, anyone who lives within a 50 mile radius of Diamond Peak can ski for only $15! Local ID is required for the discount ticket. Diamond Peak season passholders can take advantage of a free BBQ lunch at the Base Lodge deck. Come out and help us celebrate one more time the 40th year anniversary season for Diamond Peak. The resort would like to thank everyone that made this a great season. Season passes are on sale now for the 2007/2008 season.
