Celebrity WinterfestFeb 19, 2012 Celebrity Winterfest will be taking place March 3rd. This event is the largest fundraiser of the year for Special Olympics Northern California & Nevada. Proceeds fromt he weekend will provide much needed funding to ensure that 16,000 athletes across Nevada and Northern California can continue to receive free training and competition throughout the year for its sports programs.There will be a Corporate Ski Challenge that will begin at 10am. This ski event will feature corporate teams paired with a Special Olympic athlete and a celebrity skier in a dual giant slalom race. Come cheer on the teams while watching the event from the deck at the Base Lodge. |
