Ski & Snowboard School

Each package includes a 1 hour and 45 minute group lesson, rental equipment and all day lift ticket with access to the appropriate lifts for your level. Lesson meeting times are at 10am and 2pm. Click here to see instructor profiles!

Burton Learn To Ride Center

Diamond Peak teamed up with Burton Snowboards to make learning to snowboard easy and fun!  Burton's specially designed snowboards are softer flexing and easier to turn.  The right equipment teamed up with proven teaching techniques  make learning simple.  Burton LTR boards are included in each of these beginner snowboard group lesson packages.

First Time Beginner Ski or Snowboard Package

Get acquainted with your equipment and learn to stop and turn. Lift ticket valid for School House Chairlift, Upgrade to Lodgepole available after completion of lesson. Ticket upgrades available after completion of lesson. Add an afternoon lesson for $15.

Second or Third Time Lesson Package

Improve your turning skills and refine your speed control. Lift ticket valid for both School House and Lodgepole Chairlifts. Ticket upgrades available after completion of lesson. Add an afternoon lesson for $15.

Intermediate Lesson Package

You will focus on refining your skills as you begin to explore more of the mountain. Lift ticket valid for the entire mountain..

Group Lessons

Ski or snowboard. For adults and children 7 and up. Includes coupon for $8 off an additional clinic. Lesson meeting times are at 10am and 2pm and last 1 hour and 45 minutes. Register at any ticket booth.

Private Lessons

Sierra Scout All Day Adventure

Semi-private lessons (2-5 people of similar ability). The more the merrier - save money!

Girls Learn to Snowboard Clinics

Specifically designed for girls ages 7-16 yrs. old on March 1-2, 2008. Girls Learn to Snowboard clinics and Introduction to Terrain Park clinics will be offered on both days. For $229, get all day lessons, supervised lunch, and more. On Sunday there will be a special event for girls to show off their skills. Register at the Ski & Snowboard School.
