The Altitude FactorPosted by dawn on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 9:49am (PST) Earlier this week it hit a rare 90 degrees on the North Shore and it is hot. If it weren’t for the breeze at Diamond Peak, and occasional afternoon thunderstorms, it can feel as if the temperature might reach up to 100. But it has never gotten that hot in Tahoe, or has it? They say it's lucky to have rain on your wedding day, or is it just ironic? In spite of the circumstances, it was quite a day to remember. We were even treated to a spectacular rainbow over...That Fall chill is in the air!Posted by dawn on Monday, September 29, 2008 9:07am (PST) Happy Fall! You can definitely feel a chill in the air these days. This morning on my drive to work, my car thermostat read a brisk 41 degrees. I thought "only 10 more degrees and it would be freezing!" Our extended forecast shows it dipping into the 30's this week! Does that give you a ...
