Diamond Peak is open today. We are 100% open at this time. The conditions are wet, especially down here at the base where it is raining lightly, and up at the top where it is a mix of rain and snow. And I'm told there is limited visability at the top at this time. But we are open. When others close... Add Comment

Wow, it is dumping BIG time. The road are pretty gnarly today, so if you're heading up make sure you have chains/snow tires, emergency supplies and lots of warm clothing, goggles, etc. Be prepared and drive slow. Yay! This storm is producing enough snow to allow us to open, top to bottom on Thursday. That's great news! We will have 3 chairs and 4 trails open at a price reduced to $29.00 for an adult ticket.

There is still plenty of snow here at Diamond Peak. The skiing/riding is hard and fast in the morning and starting to get a little slushy by early afternoon.
