There's snow in them thar hills!

It's official that we did in fact have our first snow of the season! We've missed you white-capped mountain tops! On Friday you would have thought it was the middle of winter with the way the temps were dipping and the snow was flying. Not the best recipe for my daughter's soccer game, but they played nonetheless. (That's life in Tahoe!)On Saturday we awoke to a nippy 19 degrees and headed to yet another game, our children bundled up under their uniforms. The fairly small amount of snow we accumulated has not yet melted and that proves just how chilly it has been since. Today I posted a picture on our Pic of the Day where you can still see the snow from the top of Crystal Quad. Yes it has been chilly, for October. But it is always beautiful. I'm hoping to get some pics of the gorgeous fall foliage posted soon, unless winter decides to skip the rest of fall altogether. It has happened...
